Angling Limits - Policy 2008

At Reel North Outfitters we feel strongly about our commitment to the responsible management of our fishing resources. In consideration of that we have made some changes which take effect in May, 2008.

We considered changing our policy to catch and release but decided to change the limit you will be allowed to take from McTavish Lake if you are staying at Reel North. The following are your new limits:

- 3 Northern Pike
- 2 Trout
- 3 Walleye
- 5 Whitefish

Included in this change will be a firm policy that you release any fish weighing 10 lbs or more.

We will always encourage catch and release when you are at McTavish Lake. We feel that this change is fair and still allows everyone to take a nice feed of fish home.

Please inform everyone that may be accompanying your booking as these limits are different from the regulated Saskatchewan Angling Limits for this area.

Please feel free to go on line to www.environment.org.sk.ca to refer to all information pertaining to fishing in Saskatchewan. It will also provide you with prices on fishing licenses.
